Who am I?

Hello!

My name is Aileen Fulgueras and I'm an independent Artist and Graphic Designer. I am very interested and involved in abstract/figurative/landscape painting and designing various marketing materials, branding, logos, wedding invitations, and illustrations for apparel.

the Artist

In the past couple of years I've started to take my painting hobby seriously and started selling my own work. My medium is acrylic on canvas, or whatever I can find solid enough to paint on! I love to experiment trying various mediums and painting on different surfaces. My paintings are based on how I feel, what I've seen or experienced and what people can relate to. There are also times where I just want to paint just to paint because it looks cool, fun and makes people feel good! ;0)

the Designer

I have been currently working in the printing industry the past three years and been freelancing for six years. Through my experience I have developed my interpersonal skills and continue to always learn by working and communicating with colleagues, clients and sub-contractors directly. When working with clients, I like to have great communication because it gives me a great sense of who they are, which helps me to give them what they want and exceed their expectations. I am very hardworking and like to help clients become memorable where I become their idea machine, creative problem solver and brand consultant.

Throughout my studies and work experience, I have learned the importance of basic design elements and principles, constructive criticism, and team work. I continue to practice the value of these assets that makes any artist or graphic designer successful.
